Nessebar 

The old town of Nessebar is situated on a small picturesque peninsula 7 km southeast from Sunny Beach and is linked to the mainland by a narrow neck of land. It is announced by UNESCO to be a monument of culture with worldwide significance.

Visitors can see great preserved fortress walls, monuments from the Byzantium time, churches and splendid architecture of the national Revival. The small but unique old town has preserved 40 ancient churches and traditional Bulgarian houses dating from 11th to the 40th century. Tourism, fishing and boating is still the livelihood of a lot of its inhabitants. In Nessebar visitors will never run out of places to eat, drink and entertain – it has a wide choice of the best fish restaurants, cafes and shopping bazaars.
